April:
I left South Australia and headed for the minding town of Broken Hill.

 An old hotel in Broken Hill, used in the movie 'Priscilla, Queen of the
Desert'.  There are a number of sculptures in the desert, on the edge of Broken Hill.

                                      The Silverton Hotel was used in the Mad Max movies.

May:  On to another mining town, Lightning Ridge, famous for opals. The miners live in a variety of houses.
